OPEN Grant Opportunities from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)

  • The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is pleased to announce that grant guidelines and application materials are now available for Challenge America and Grants for Arts Projects (GAP). These grants to organizations support specific projects in any part of the nation’s 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. jurisdictions. See here for additional information.

 The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) have announced a combined $62 million in grants — $34 million and $28 million, respectively —supporting a vast array of projects, ranging from theater productions to virtual museums. “I encourage everyone to explore these projects and the ways they help provide inspiration, understanding, and opportunities for us to live more artful lives,” said NEA Chair Maria Rosario Jackson in a statement. National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Grant Awards and Offers, January 2023

  • The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) today announced $28.1 million in grants for 204 humanities projects across the country. “The range, diversity, and creativity of these new projects speak to the wealth of humanities ideas and deep engagement of humanities practitioners across our country,” said NEH Chair Shelly C. Webinar for New U.S. Grant Opportunity: Public Art Challenge

  • Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Public Art Challenge has launched its third round, and is hosting a webinar for interested applicants in the U.S. to learn about the grant program. The Public Art Challenge supports innovative temporary public art projects that demonstrate close collaboration between city government, artists, and cultural organizations. Up to 10 U.S. cities will be selected to receive as much as $1 million each for projects that enhance the local economy, residents’ quality of life, and address a specific civic issue. Mayors of U.S. cities with 30,000 residents or more are invited to submit proposals for projects that demonstrate close partnerships between artists, arts organizations, and city government. Applications are due February 15 at 5pm EST.
