Buenos Aires–born, Miami-based Diego Waisman is a visual artist that explores themes of social and economic displacement, identity, and exile. Waisman utilizes documentary photography, video, and installation to build connected narratives about overlooked social topics. 

His first monograph, Sunset Colonies, represents a visual meditation on Miami's vanishing mobile home communities. The book was published by the University Press of Florida in September of 2024. Waisman's first solo show, For I Shall Already Have Forgotten You, opened in July 2024 at the University of Miami Wynwood gallery.
