Erin Parish

Erin Parish has lived in Miami Beach since 2006, preceded by 20 years in NYC. She received her undergraduate degree from Bennington College, Benn., VT and her master’s degree from Queens College, NY, NY. She studied art in 1980’s Berlin.

Her work is inspired by subatomic patterning and is an inquiry into how this asserts itself in a biomorphic context. She is obsessed with circles, cells, molecules, all of which take an orbital form. She has had over 30 solo exhibitions to date. She is represented by Burlingame, California’s Andra Norris Gallery and in NYC by Spanierman Modern. She is currently included in the Havana Biennial in Cuba in five gallery and public exhibitions. She has been reviewed in the major art publications such as the New York Times, Art in American and ArtNews, and is collected widely in private and corporate collections, including numerous hotels.

Currently, in addition to being a full-time artist, Parish writes art reviews for Art Burst Miami and teaches at Miami Dade College. She has recently been the recipient of an artist’s grant from Miami-Dade, her full bio can be found at ErinParish.com. Her digital paintings can be seen at Parisheditions.com.
