Warehouse 4726 and Maria Patino Studios offer a special workshop in preparation for Florida Day of the Dead.
"Throughout the festival, traditional community remembrance altars or “ofrendas” spring up, covered in photographs, hand painted papier maché skeletons, sugar skulls, marigolds, trinkets, food for the dead and candles. Community members, artists and schoolchildren all present personal memories of those whom they have lost in striking visual presentations. Official location to see our community ofrendas is New River Inn (Fort Lauderdale/October 2-November 2)." SOURCE - www.dayofthedeadflorida.com
