Happy Februllage! Join Warehouse 4726 every SATURDAY in February as part of Februllage 2022.

Februllage 2021 is where Collage and Connect started! “Februllage” is an open submission project, a collaboration between Edinburgh Collage Collective and the Scandinavian Collage Museum. “Februllage” invites collage artists to make a collage a day throughout the month of February using their official Word Prompt Calendar.” (kollaj magazine)

ABOUT COLLAGE & CONNECT

This is not a how-to class, but an hour to commit to your own creativity. This event offers time to sit quietly, work new parts of your brain, and see things in a different way with people from across the globe.

We share ideas on how to start making something, tips on artists to look at for inspiration, other online workshops we've enjoyed, and we talk about the weather. Or we just work quietly, enjoying the sounds of tearing paper and quiet contemplation. Together we share an hour of collage making.

Sit with friends, or make some new ones.

MATERIALS

What things can you use?

• magazines

• colored paper

• paint or ink

• pencils, markers, crayons

• food coloring

• old greeting cards

• newspaper, advertising flyers

• fabric

• ribbons

• any kind of materials that catch your interest!

You'll also need

• Elmer's glue (or something like it)

• A large piece of paper or canvas, even an old hardcover book will work.
