Noche de Arte with Luna Korme

  • InterContinental Miami Hotel 100 Chopin Plaza Miami, FL 33131 (map)

Artist in Residence at the InterContinental Miami

Mondays 5PM - 7PM (EST)

We’re celebrating Black History Month in February!

collaboARTive and InterContinental Miami Hotel, in partnership with Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, present Noche de Arte - a weekly happy hour event featuring an Art Exhibition and Activation showcasing a Miami-based artist exploring new materials and techniques to create new works.

You are invited to join us Mondays in the lobby as locally acclaimed artists bring their works to life around the Hotel's famed Henry Moore "Spindle" sculpture.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Luna Korme was born in East Africa. Growing up with a spiritually rich life, she is an intuitive self-taught artist. Her work features digitally enhanced and altered photography as well as digital paintings that stem from her life experiences and her diverse surroundings.

Edgy and postmodern, Luna's images reference dreamlike qualities, memories of African culture and heritage, and a lifetime of exploration to embrace the artist inside.

Learn more about the artist and see samples of her work on Instagram @lunakorme

The artist will be donating a portion of sales to support the Somali Forgotten Minds Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to decreasing the stigma of mental illness and tackling cycles of trauma in Somalia and Dadaab.
