In my abstract expressionist paintings, I explore the raw and spontaneous nature of mark-making using a variety of mediums including oil paint, acrylic, aerosol, charcoal and oil sticks on raw canvas. Each brushstroke, splatter, and gesture mark is a deliberate act of shutting off my mind from overthinking and planning.

Through my paintings, I pose questions about the relationship between the seen and the unseen, the known and unknown. What lies beneath the surface? What else might be worth reconsidering or examining beyond what is immediately visible? I invite viewers to engage with my work as investigators of their own perceptions.
