Celebrating One Year of the Noche de Arte Live Painting Events at the InterContinental Miami Hotel

The past 12 months have been an incredible journey for us here at collaboARTive. Through our partnership with the InterContinental Miami Hotel and our Noche de Arte program, we've had the privilege of hosting 11 amazing artists and welcoming hundreds of visitors to view their work on display. We've made friends, sold artwork, and supported artists' careers—all while doing our part to promote art in the community. Here's a look back at our year-long celebration of the arts!

It all began with an invitation from the team at the InterContinental Miami to bring together local artists to elevate the cultural atmosphere of a hotel dedicated to the arts. We developed a program that would create a space where people could come together and celebrate art in its many forms, while featuring light bites from Toro Toro, the hotel’s Spanish-themed restaurant and bar. And so, on March 7, 2022 we hosted our first event at the InterContinental Miami Hotel—a night full of live painting, music, food, wine, and conversation.

The night was a hit! It was amazing to see people from all walks of life enjoying each other's company while admiring some truly stunning works of art. We knew then that we were onto something special.

Over the course of the next 12 months, we hosted 10 more events featuring different artists—each one more successful than the last. We welcomed hundreds of visitors—local art enthusiasts as well as tourists from around the world—and sold several works, which helped support these talented individuals' careers.

Reflecting back on this past year has been nothing short of inspiring for us here at collaboARTive. Thanks to our artists and growing community - and the support of our partners, InterContinental Miami, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs—we've been able to host some truly memorable events over the course of these past 12 months.
