Charo Oquet, Dominican-born, Miami-based interdisciplinary artist Charo Oquet's multifaceted practice spans performance, sculpture, installation, painting, video, ceramics, and photography. Her awards include the Latinx Artist Fellowship (2024) and Ellies Creator Award (2020). Oquet's intricate mixed-media works incorporate found objects and recycled materials, reworking visual references from her Afro-Caribbean culture and rituals research.
