Samantha Salzinger

Samantha Salzinger is an artist, filmmaker, and educator who creates intricate handcrafted dioramas that transform into photographs and videos, exploring themes of consumerism, environmental degradation, and overconsumption. A graduate of Yale University’s School of Art (MFA) and Florida International University (BFA), her work has been showcased in prestigious venues such as the Bass Art Museum, USF Contemporary Art Museum, and internationally in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Basel, Switzerland. Samantha’s accolades include the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship (2000, 2009, 2018) and awards like Best Short Sci-Fi at the Shawna Shea Film Festival. Her art is held in notable collections, including the Perez Art Museum. As Professor 1 and Art Department Chair at Palm Beach State College, she inspires future artists while pushing creative boundaries.
